Program team building activities - La Tannerie de Durbuy
Team package
Breakfast buffet: between 08.30 h and 09.30 h
Activity from 10.00 h + afternoon + evening BBQ
  • Highland Trophy: Teams of 6 to 8 people compete against each other. This will take place in the garden and along the Ourthe. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Lunch surprise sandwiches 12.30 h to 13.30 h
  • Adventure walk along the Ourthe 5 km with 1 stop
  • Apéro with local tapas and a glass of champagne/Prosecco at the foot of the Corneille rock along the banks of the Ourthe
  • Crossing of the Ourthe and torchlight walk back (if dark enough)
  • Afterwards BBQ and DJ - party in the barn of La Tannerie (from 22.00 h to 01.00 h
OR
Adventure package (this requires a transfer by car/private bus of +/- 15 min or by train 15 min)
Breakfast buffet: between 08.30 and 09.30 am
Activity from 10.00 h + afternoon + evening BBQ
  • E-mountain bike (or regular mountain bike for the die-hard ones) in the area (50 km - 800 altimeters with guided departure from Durbuy) from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. On the way, a stop with light lunch will be provided in Sy together with the group that chooses the other option.
OR
  • Via Cordo (altitude trail along the rocks starting from Sy) from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. followed by an adventurous hike from Sy from 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. In the afternoon a light lunch in Sy together with the mountain bikers.
  • From Sy along the Ourthe walk to the Apéro place where we serve local tapas with a glass of champagne/Prosecco at the foot of the Corneille rock along the banks of the Ourthe
  • Crossing the Ourthe and torchlight walk back (when dark enough)
  • Then BBQ and DJ - party in the barn of La Tannerie (from 20.00 h to 01.00 h)

Epicurean package:
Breakfast buffet: between 08.30 h and 09.30 h
Activity from 10.00 h + afternoon + evening BBQ
  • Adventure hike on the rocks of Bomal and le Mont Des Pins (7 km - 160 altimeters)
  • 2 stops along the way for drinks and snacks with local tapas and champagne or Prosecco
  • Arrival at La Tannerie
  • Afterwards BBQ and DJ - party in the barn of La Tannerie (from 22.00 h to 01.00 h)

Coaching

For the coaching activities we work together with Erwin Ramaekers (from Focus-UP). Erwin has extensive experience in inspiring teams and getting the best out of people. His coaching sessions keep floating around in your head after an intense experience such as walking on fire, ...
​Erwin can be hired by half day.

How to go to SY ?

The Sy property is 4 km from the cottage. You can get there in several ways:
  • by train (get on in Bomal/get off in Sy, there is a train every hour until 11 pm and only 12 min (along the Ourthe-see plan)
  • by bicycle along the Ravel towards Sy/Hamoir (4 km). This path runs along the Ourthe and is therefore easy to ride.
  • by car (see plan below)
The Adventure Valley site is 8 km from the gite. The address is: Romestraat 1 Durbuy. Transportation from the gite to the terrain or the start of the E-mountain bike is arranged by Adventure Valley with a small bus. This will pick you up at the vacation rental for free. For all other activities you will also be picked up by a van.
